ARMIN WEGNER

1886–1978

Intellectual, doctor in law, photographer, writer, poet, civil rights defender and eyewitness to the Armenian Genocide.

In April, 1915 as a member of German Sanitary Corpse he was sent to Ottoman Turkey, where he witnessed the genocide of Armenians in Turkey. He took photographs of the tragic events some of which he later managed to send to Germany and the United States.

The Trial of Talaat Pasha (also in Russian and Armenian)

English translation of the original proceedings of Soghomon Tehlirian trial, first published in German in 1921 (Berlin) under the title Der Process Talaat Pascha.
